The CUPE Metro District Council and the Fraser Valley District Council are partnering to host a conference that mobilizes not-yet-engaged members to build the strength and capacity of your local. This conference builds on the success of the same conference last year in Kelowna, where we have already seen those participants getting involved in their local in a number of different ways.

This conference is designed for new members, young members, and members who have been part of your local for a longer time but have not had the chance to become more actively engaged and want to learn more about CUPE, what our union does, and where they can fit in. One document is designed for local executives who may have questions about the conference, while the other is designed for potential participants.

The cost for locals is $100 per participant. Hotel rooms are available through our room block at the Sheraton Guildford.
